Window Cleaning Terms & Conditions

Frequency:

We offer a flexible schedule for regular maintenance cleans. We try to stick as closely as possible to this schedule but occasionally due to extreme weather or sickness we may be a few days off.

Weather:

                Our pure water cleaning system is effective in all weather conditions, producing consistent cleaning results. We will clean your windows in all weather conditions we deem safe to provide you with a regular and reliable window cleaning service.

Notification:

We will notify you by SMS text message the day before your scheduled clean as a reminder to leave any gates unlocked, windows/vents etc closed and any access paths cleared.

Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel your scheduled clean, we require 48 hours notice from the date of your scheduled clean.

We reserve the right to charge the full price of your clean if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice or turn us away at the door.

Access:

If we are unable to access parts of your property, due to locked gates for example, we will clean all windows that are safely in reach. This will still be charged at your normal clean price. We may not be able to return until your next scheduled clean.

Due to insurance limitations we are unable to move any obstacles (such as garden furniture, flower pots etc.) that may block our way or restrict our ability to clean.

We cannot bring our hoses through your home, although garages are ok.

Please make sure any ‘pet mess’ is cleaned up prior to our arrival as we cannot move our equipment through these areas to clean.

Liability/Damages:

We accept no liability for damage caused to your property by structural or decorative defects. This includes but is not limited to:

·         Poorly fitted:

o   Windows.

o   Doors.

o   Fascias.

o   Guttering.

o   Window/Conservatory Trims.

o   Trickle vents.

·         Unsecured windows and doors.

·         Leaking seals.

·         Loose/peeling leading.

·         Rotting wooden frames/flaking paint.

·         Anything stuck to the glass such as decorative bars.

If we notice any areas of concern we will bring it to your attention, but it is not our responsibility to identify this before we begin cleaning.

Our equipment is specifically designed for cleaning glass. There is nothing on the brush that can scratch your glass. Cleaning your glass can sometimes reveal previous damage or imperfections.

If the weather has been particularly wet and your grass has become ‘boggy’, we will endeavour to move as little as possible on the grass. However, depending on the property it may be necessary to walk on the grass to reach certain windows.

Payment:

Payment can be made by signing up for Direct Debit via GoCardless. Details will be provided in your welcome email.

One-off cleans can be paid by BACS, or cash on the day.

Complaints:

We want our customers to be 100% happy with their window cleans. Please let us know within 24 hours if you are not happy with any aspect of your clean. We will arrange to come back as soon as possible.

Gutter Clearing Terms & Conditions

Power:

To power our gutter clearing equipment we will need access to a mains plug socket, either exterior or interior.

If you need to be home to provide this access, we can provide you a time slot.

We use an additional circuit breaker as an extra precaution to protect your home electrics.

Weather:

We cannot clear your gutters in the rain. If it is raining heavily on the day of your gutter clear, we may need to reschedule.

Limitations of clearing:

We can normally clear your gutters completely, but on occasion there may sections that we can’t clear for various reasons, such as:             

·         The guttering is too high to safely reach with our equipment.

·         The gap between the building and the guttering is too small to access with our equipment.

·         The guttering is broken or showing signs of damage, which could be made worse by attempting to clear it out.

·         The ground is obstructed, stopping us reaching your gutters safely.

·         Broken roof tiles or mortar are trapped (usually by the roof tiles) and the gap between the building and the guttering is too small to pull them out.

Severe blockages:

·         In some extreme circumstances there may be a blockage that is beyond the scope of our equipment to safely remove from the ground. Additional charges may apply to arrange for these to be removed. You will of course be notified beforehand, and no work will take place without your permission.

Leaking gutters:

·         Sometimes removing debris from gutters reveals leaks that the debris was covering up.

·         Any leaks revealed in this manner will be your responsibility to have repaired.

Unable to complete Job:

·         If we arrive to carry out your gutter clean but cannot complete the work for reasons outside of our control, we reserve the right to charge the full price.

Waste Removal:

We do not have a Waste Carrier’s permit. We will need a suitable place to dispose of the waste from your gutters. Typically, customers ask us to dispose of the waste in the following places.

·         Compost heap.

·         Garden waste bin.

·         Under or behind garden bushes or beds.
